49th Silvretta Mountain Hike

Superb panoramic views guaranteed

Versettla cable car valley station

After the gondola ride up, the hike itself starts at 2,040 m at the Versettla gondola top station on the Gaschurner Gantegrat ridge, and climbs gently as it winds along the marked footpath under the rocks of the "Burg" outcrop, reaching the large green summit of the Versettla mountain at a height of 2,370 m. It then continues on the "Matschuner Gratweg" ridge path, also known as "Erich Ender's Path", across the Eastern slope of the "Madrisella" to the Matschunerjoch col (highest point 2,390 m). From the col, the path descends slightly into the idyllically-situated Novatal valley, passing the small Zerres-See lake en route to the Alpe Nova mountain dairy at 1,736 m. It then leads through the Novatal valley to the top station of the Garfrescha gondola.
