Freeride safety check

12/30/ - 04/13/2020 | every Monday, 01/12/2020

Practical safety training

The freeride safety check enhances your off-piste expertise and experience. The course covers the observation of the great outdoors and the terrain and teaches methods that can be used to better assess risks. Together with a mountain guide, you practice the individual steps involved in avalanche searches. The professional framework provided for this, is offered by the permanent PIEPS avalanche training search field on the Grasjoch. We will allocate you all the emergency equipment for the course. The adjacent Freeride Centre will give us information about the latest weather and snow conditions. This will also provide you with useful tips for your off-piste excursions with friends.
