Silvretta Montafon is kicking off the 2025/26 winter season with numerous innovations, modernized areas and fresh ideas. Over the past months, we’ve been tinkering, building and fine‑tuning in many places—all with one goal: to make our guests’ experience even more varied, comfortable and enjoyable.
Culinary delights, elevated
There’s been a lot happening in our gastronomy. After a comprehensive refurbishment, the Kapellrestaurant shines in new splendor—more modern, more open and with even more space to savor. You’ll find all the details here.
Fresh energy is also blowing through the Josefsheim: with a new concept and a stylish bar both indoors and out, this meeting spot in Schruns invites you to linger.
In the Markthalle, a new outdoor bar awaits alongside crispy highlights—a new fries concept with creative toppings brings street‑food flair right into the ski area. The popular La Bolla wine and sparkling‑wine bar, set inside a glass dome, is relocating from Nova Stoba to the Schwarzköpfli kiosk, promising refined tasting breaks with a view. New and refurbished umbrella bars at Rehsee Stöbli and Grasjoch Hütte invite you to soak up the sun. And après‑ski fans can rejoice: Alte Talstation returns to its original role as a party hotspot.
Sporting highlights & technical upgrades
Silvretta Montafon stays at the forefront on the sports side, too. Snowpark Freda gets an update with a new line, while the Race Area now features an extended course and a brand‑new start house. Also new: the VAN DEER Test Center at the top stations of the Hochjoch and Zamang Bahn, where ski enthusiasts can test the latest models.
Prefer to hang with the park community? A former “park gondola” has been transformed into a cool Parkbase with kiosk, standing tables and loungers—perfect for chilling after your session.
New experiences for winter fans
There’s plenty to discover off the slopes as well. With the new winter mountain carts, guests can enjoy exhilarating rides through the snow. Several new photo spots across the ski area help capture lasting memories—among them two large picture frames with panoramic views and a photo booth at Nova Stoba.
Nature lovers are in for a treat, too: with the first snowshoe trail on Fredakopf and an expanded winter‑hiking offering in the Seebliga area, the quiet side of winter is more accessible than ever.
Investing in comfort & quality
To ensure perfectly groomed slopes and smooth operations, we’ve invested heavily in infrastructure. New groomers and snowmakers deliver even better piste quality, while the backpack depot at Bella Nova now offers modern lockers for extra convenience.
There’s a visual upgrade, too: all gondola lifts now sport a new design—a visible sign of a new season full of energy and style.
Celebrate, dance, savor—new event highlights
Beyond all the structural updates, guests can also look forward to new event formats. At the Spring Session in April, Snowpark Montafon becomes a stage for freestyle and beats, while Dutch Week brings Dutch DJs and colorful décor for true holiday vibes in the mountains.
Music lovers and après‑ski fans will also get their fill at Italo Disco, Freaky Friday and the Sundowner Sessions—with laid‑back DJ sounds, drinks in the sun, and extended lift hours until 6.00 PM.
