Strong Partnership for Year-Round Alpine Operations: Silvretta Montafon Relies on the Lindner Lintrac
Silvretta Montafon has entered into a new partnership with the Austrian traditional company Lindner Traktoren. With the Lintrac, a versatile specialist vehicle is now in operation, taking on key tasks in high alpine terrain both in winter and summer – from trail preparation to technical maintenance. The cooperation underlines Silvretta Montafon’s commitment to modern, efficient, and sustainable infrastructure solutions.
In winter, Silvretta Montafon uses the Lintrac to prepare the Kapell toboggan run and selected winter hiking trails at Hochjoch. Thanks to its all-wheel steering and exceptional maneuverability, the vehicle proves particularly effective on narrow routes and challenging terrain. The result: evenly prepared trails, enhanced safety, and a reliable offer for winter sports enthusiasts beyond the ski slopes.
The Lintrac is also an integral part of daily operations in summer. It is used for mulching work on ski slopes, as a transport vehicle in rough terrain, and for logistics and service tasks related to snowmaking infrastructure. Equipped with a front loader and personnel platform, the vehicle also supports maintenance and inspection work on snowmaking systems. For summer use, the Lintrac is fitted with dual tires, increasing ground protection and providing additional stability.
“The Lintrac perfectly meets our requirements in high alpine terrain. It is compact, powerful, and extremely versatile – exactly what we need for efficient year-round operations,” says Mario Tschofen, Head of Slopes and Snowmaking at Silvretta Montafon. “With Lindner Traktoren, we have a partner that combines alpine expertise, technical quality, and sustainable thinking.”
The collaboration with Lindner Traktoren represents another building block in the continuous development of Silvretta Montafon’s infrastructure. The goal is to optimize work processes, use resources efficiently, and provide reliable quality for both guests and employees – in winter and summer alike.
“The cooperation with Lindner Traktoren is an important step in further developing our year-round operations in high alpine terrain in an even more efficient and sustainable way,” emphasizes Managing Director Martin Oberhammer. “We are very pleased about this partnership and our shared commitment to quality and innovation.”
Managing Director David Lindner also highlights the importance of the cooperation: “Silvretta Montafon stands for the highest level of professionalism in alpine operations. We are therefore especially pleased that our Lintrac can demonstrate its versatility in such a demanding environment. This partnership is a strong signal for regional cooperation and technical expertise.”
