Seetalweg trail: a picturesque hiking route in the Montafon mountains
On the Seetalweg trail, you’ll experience the serene beauty of deep blue mountain lakes, lush alpine meadows and (if you’re fortunate) the delightful sounds of whistling marmots. On clear days, you can enjoy sweeping views extending all the way to Rote Wand in the Klostertal valley and even the distant Säntis in Switzerland.

Route description of the Seetalweg trail
The Sennigrat Bahn cable car takes you to the starting point of your hike: the mountain station of the same name. Follow the trail, passing Wormser Hütte mountain hut, and continue towards Kapell via Seeweg. Shortly after Seetalhüsli (hut), you’ll reach the Kapell mountain station. For the return journey to Kapell, you have two options: either take the route via Stägawand or via the tunnel.
